Wisconsin Office of Rural Health awards $15k to Ministry Door County Medical Center Dental Clinic

The Wisconsin Office of Rural Health awarded a grant of $15,000 to the Ministry Door County Medical Center Dental Clinic in Sturgeon Bay, Wis., according to a Green Bay Press Gazette report.

The funds from WORH will help expand dental clinic hours of service from three days a week to four days. The funding is provided through the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Program. The clinic includes a full-time dentist, a dental hygienist and two dental assistants, and it sees an average of 20 patients per day, according to the report.
