Dental robotics in the news: 3 updates

Neocis, the manufacturer of the Yomi dental implant robot, has marked several milestones in recent weeks.

The Yomi Robotic Dental System is the first FDA-cleared, robot-assisted dental surgery system in the U.S. The robot helps increase the speed, efficiency and accuracy of dental implant procedures. 

Here are three updates about Neocis and the Yomi robot that Becker’s has reported on since Dec. 19:

1. Neocis most recently announced that it secured $20 million in funding to support the company’s growth.  

2. Justin Schlaikjer, DDS, surpassed his 320th case with the Yomi robot.

3. Leo Haydt IV, DMD, completed his 800th case using the Yomi robot.
