Chicago-based Aspen Dental partnered with Forward Science, an oral health-focused biotechnology company, to add PerioStōm, a non-drug periodontal therapy to its practices.
PerioStōm is an FDA-approved treatment that aims to improve patient recovery and outcomes after scaling and root planing procedures.
Aspen Dental added PerioStōm to its network of more than 1,100 practices, according to a Sept. 29 news release.
