Justin Carroll. CFO at MB2 Dental (Dallas): Mr. Carroll was appointed CFO in October after serving as the company’s COO for over 10 years. Before coming to MB2 Dental, he served as the director of private equity for Highland Capital Management.
Travis Franklin. CFO at Heartland Dental (Effingham, Ill.): Mr. Franklin joined Heartland Dental in 2004. His previous positions with the DSO include executive vice president of development, executive general manager, development director and analyst. Before joining Heartland Dental, he was chief investment officer at WMG Development, a commercial real estate company.
Taylor Hawes. CFO at PDS Health (Henderson, Nev.): Mr. Hawes joined PDS Health in 2019 with more than 30 years of experience in the manufacturing and software industries under his belt. Before joining PDS Health, he served in various leadership roles at Microsoft.
Brad Schmidt. CFO at Smile Brands (Irvine, Calif.): Mr. Schmidt has been with Smile Brands since 1998, serving as vice president and controller before being appointed CFO. He has led the company through its growth as a startup to one of the largest DSOs in the U.S., including the optimization of its services infrastructure.
Alexander Weiss. CFO at The Aspen Group (Chicago): Mr. Weiss joined the Aspen Group in 2017. He started as the senior vice president of finance before being promoted to CFO in 2019. Before joining the DSO, he was CFO at Mattress Firm and spent about a decade in investment banking.
