Here are five dental companies that have experienced data breaches since July 1:
1. James Standring, DDS, a dental practice in Crescent City, Calif., experienced a data breach that may have affected the information of 6,658 individuals.
2. Hot Springs-based Arkansas Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons experienced a data breach in April that may have impacted patient information.
3. Soniva Dental Care, a 14-location DSO based in San Antonio, disclosed a cybersecurity incident affecting up to 30,000 patients across several of its offices.
4. Cure Dental in Belton, Texas, suffered a data breach affecting more than 800 patients.
5. Dental implant manufacturer Park Dental Research Corporation suffered a ransomware attack that led to the exposure of sensitive information.
