5 dentists stepping into new leadership roles

Here are five dentists who have stepped into new leadership roles since May:

1. Little Rock, Ark.-based Lyon College School of Dental Medicine named Ashley McMillan, DDS, as inaugural medical director of its dental program launched in partnership with Arkansas Children’s.

2. The UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry named Renato Silva, DDS, PhD, as its next dean.

3. Hackensack, N.J.-based MAX Surgical Specialty Management named Jason Auerbach, DDS, as CEO.

4. The University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore appointed Gary Warburton, DDS, MD, as interim dean.

5. Steven Lepowsky, DDS, was appointed to a second term as dean of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington.
