Nashville, Tenn.-based Specialty Dental Brands partnered with Lightspun, an AI-powered dental insurance administration platform, to automate its provider onboarding and credentialing.
Lightspun’s automation has decreased the DSO’s provider onboarding timeline from up to 12 weeks to less than two weeks, according to a Sept. 15 news release from Lightspun.
The AI-powered platform automates onboarding and credentialing through a partnership with the American Dental Association to add providers to networks.
According to an analysis from TechTarget, dentists lose up to $87,274 during a typical 120-day credentialing period.
Specialty Dental Brands supports more than 300 providers across 25 states, the release said.
