In a June 25 article she wrote for the California Dental Association, dental benefits analyst Cindy Hartwell shared four teledentistry strategies that dentists can continue to use after the pandemic:

  • Triaging patients who are sheltered in place or live in rural areas
  • Holding synchronous meetings with new patients to build a relationship
  • Providing patients with online forms to fill out to better inform their video chat appointments
  • Supervising hygiene at satellite locations or during weekend hours
