The partnership expands The Smilist’s presence in metro New York to 34 locations and more than 90 dentists and specialists.
The DSO is backed by Zenyth Partners, a private equity firm that invests in healthcare services companies.
“Our partnership with Encore Dental puts us in a strong position for further expansion,” Robert Feuer, chairman of The Smilist, said in a March 11 news release. “It represents a significant step in establishing a platform for continued growth combining the strengths of two successful companies.”
Encore Dental was founded in 2012 by Christopher Emma, DMD, Michael Massaro, DMD, and Ryan Pannorfi, DMD.
