The new products are the T3 Pro Tapered Implant and Encode Emergence Healing Abutment, according to a June 16 news release.
The implant builds on ZimVie’s family of T3 implants and is designed for enhanced stability, bone support and immediate function. The healing abutment joins the company’s three-in-one Encode Emergence Impression System, which also includes impression coping and a scan-body for a more simplified digital workflow. The system is designed to improve efficiency by reducing the need for multiple abutment removals and enhance hard and soft tissue preservation, according to the release.
ZimVie launched in March as an independent spinoff of the dental and spine business units of medical device company Zimmer Biomet.
