1. Saulius Drukteinis, DMD, PhD, was appointed dean of the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Dental Medicine.

2. Burke Soffe, DMD, was appointed dean of Batesville, Ark.-based Lyon College’s upcoming dental school.

3. Tend, a tech-focused dental company, appointed Cynthia Hiskes as its first chief people officer.
