1. Orthobrain, an orthodontics growth company, launched its new clear aligner system, SimplyClear.
2. Wardah Inam, CEO of dental artificial intelligence company Overjet, was given the 'Excellence in Industry' award from the Edward B. Shils Entrepreneurial Fund.
3. Teledentistry company The TeleDentists and preventative health testing company Total Health Screens are partnering to bring diabetes testing to dental offices.
4. Pearl, a dental artificial intelligence software company, was included on the 2022 list of "'Hot Vendors' in Computer Vision" by Aragon Research, a technology insight company.
5. Pearl joined Women in DSO, a nonprofit supporting the growth of female leaders in dental support organizations, as a founding industry partner.
6. SmileDirectClub earned $126 million in second quarter revenue.
