1. Dental technology company Dentsply Sirona named John Fortson as executive vice president and CFO, effective July 20.
2. Houston-based Specialty1 Partners added Andrew Sousa as its vice president of business development.
3. Nancy Young, DMD, dean of the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta (Ga.) University died June 6 at the age of 58.
