1. Residents of Glen Dale, W.Va., are debating whether to allow Heather Taylor, DDS, to remodel a vacant building for use as a dental office.

2. Nashville, Tenn.-based Marquee Dental Partners has acquired Gamble Cosmetic and Family Dentistry, which is owned by R. Scott Gamble, DDS.

3. Bettie McKaig, DDS, who served as the first female president of the International College of Dentists in 2019, died Feb. 3 at age 70.
