Texas dentist sentenced to 30 years in prison in child pornography case

Jason White, DDS, has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for production of child pornography, KCBD, an NBC affiliate, reported Jan. 6.

Dr. White, a former Lubbock, Texas-based dentist, was indicted on charges of production of child pornography, receipt and distribution of child pornography, and enticement of a minor in February 2021. In August, additional charges were filed after prosecutors alleged crimes involving seven victims over the span of 15 years. A civil suit was also filed on behalf of one victim seeking $10 million in damages.

He pleaded guilty to one count of production of child pornography in September.

In addition to his prison sentence, Dr. White must forfeit his home and 966-acre ranch where the crimes were committed.
