2. A manager and an operator of a Houston dental clinic have been charged in an alleged $6 million Medicaid fraud and kickback scheme.
3. Texas has 317 dental practitioner shortage areas designated by the Health Resources and Services Administration.
4. Lily Garcia, DDS, is stepping down as dean from the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine to join the Dallas-based Texas A&M University College of Dentistry as its new dean.
