1. Irving, Texas-based Specialized Dental Partners added Signature Endodontics in Rancho Santa Margarita, led by Samuel Ip, DDS, to its network.
2. Delta Dental of California and affiliates made 10 executive leadership appointments.
3. California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed legislation designed to improve requirements and transparency for dental plans.
4. Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Imagen Dental Partners added Laguna Family Dentistry in Laguna Beach.
5. Javad Aghaloo, DDS, a dentist in San Diego, and Theresa Flores, his practice manager, pleaded guilty to Medicare fraud.
