From DSO office openings to a new dental school, here are four dental industry updates that have taken place in North Carolina since Sept. 5:
1. Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental is opening a practice location at a mixed-used development in Concord, N.C.
2. High Point (N.C.) University broke ground on its upcoming dental school.
3. Charlotte, N.C.-based Flagship Specialty Partners named Jason Lockwood as its next president and CEO.
4. Wake Forest-based NC Dental U is launching a dental assistant program at its location in Wilson, N.C.
