Here are three dental industry updates that have taken place in Rhode Island since Oct. 30:
1. Rhode Island dentists and patients are facing several challenges that have led the state to reach a "tipping point."
2. Delta Dental of Rhode Island and the Samuels Sinclair Dental Center at Rhode Island Hospital have teamed up to create the first oral residency program in Rhode Island.
3. Sarasota, Fla.-based Dental Care Alliance made its first addition in Rhode Island by affiliating with Hodosh Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry, located in Providence.
