What dentists earn in the worst states for dental health

Dentists can earn an average of between $118,000 and $192,000 in the worst ranked states for dental health. 

Personal finance website WalletHub recently ranked all 50 states and Washington, D.C., based on dental habits and care and oral health. 

Here is what dentists make in the worst states for dental health, according to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics:

Arkansas: $192,400

Mississippi: $157,110

West Virginia: $145,300

Louisiana: $165,610

Montana: $166,490

Texas: $162,900

Alaska: $118,030

Alabama: $190,370

Kentucky: $188,910

Florida: $170,930
