5 dental updates in New York

1. New Hyde Park-based Premier Care Dental Management hit 115 offices with the addition of North Shore Implant & Oral Surgery Associates on Long Island. 

2. A New York City man was arraigned on three felony charges for allegedly practicing dentistry without a license in White Plains.

3. Buffalo-based Erie County Medical Center opened its Center for Dental Care.

4. Marcelo Araujo, DDS, PhD, will begin a new role as dean of the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine May 15.

5. The Adirondack Health dental center in Lake Placid is set to close in May after operating for 30 years.
