Dr. Jane Martone awarded highest honor from Academy of General Dentistry

Jane Martone, DDS, has been named the 2025 recipient of the Academy of General Dentistry’s Dr. Thaddeus V. Weclew Award.

The award honors educators for their contributions to the art and science of dentistry. It is one the AGD’s highest honors, according to a July 9 news release.

Dr. Martone is a practicing dentist and an educator at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. She is also a diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. Additionally, she is a fellow of the International College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the American College of Dentists.
