Ms. Reed was convicted in April for keeping 11 deposit envelopes from the practice over the course of four months in 2021.
The assistant district attorney said that Ms. Reed returned approximately $16,000 to the practice. The judge also ordered Ms. Reed to pay $2,500 in restitution to the practice for money that was not returned or reimbursed, the report said.
In addition to the six months in jail, Ms. Reed will have five years of probation.
Police and prosecutors declined to name the practice.
