Here are 16 DSOs that have added new partner practices or have opened de novo offices on the East Coast:

Florida

1. Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental has added several offices: Rapallo Dental Care, Lake Toho Dental Care, Dental Care at Winchester Center, Cypress Bay Dental Care, Marsh View Dental Care and Dental Care at Race Track.

2. Boca Raton, Fla.-based Sage Dental opened an office in Ormond Beach, Fla.

3. Plantation, Fla.-based Vitana Pediatric and Orthodontic Partners added Tringas Orthodontics, which has two locations in Windermere and Orlando, Fla.

4. Dallas-based Beacon Oral Specialists partnered with North Florida Oral & Facial Surgery, a five-location practice.

5. Chicago-based The Sonrisa Group acquired Pine Forest Dental in Pensacola, Fla. It also launched Lach Dental Specialists, which operates two locations in Lake Nona and Oviedo.

Georgia

1. Chicago-based Aspen Dental opened an office in Thomasville, Ga.

2. Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental added Whispering Springs Dental Care in Lithia Springs, Ga.

Maryland

1. Phoenix-based Salt Dental Partners opened Smile Station in Brunswick, Md.

New Jersey

1. Two dental practices in New Jersey merged into a new Dental365 office in Westfield, N.J.

2. Chicago-based Aspen Dental opened an office in Toms River, N.J.

3. Hackensack, N.J.-based MAX Surgical Specialty Management partnered with Oral & Maxillofacial Associates of Montclair.

4. Chicago-based Phase 1 Equity added its second practice in New Jersey.

New York

1. Plantation, Fla.-based Vitana Pediatric & Orthodontic Partners added Comella & Associates Orthodontics in Rochester, N.Y.

2. Phoenix-based Salt Dental Partners partnered with Julia Cerny, DMD, in Latham, N.Y. It also added Suffolk Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, which has five locations in New York.

3. Greenwood Village, Colo.-based ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers opened a location in Albany, N.Y.

4. Hackensack, N.J.-based MAX Surgical Specialty Management added two oral surgery practices in New York. 

North Carolina

1. Dallas-based Ideal Dental opened an office in Rolesville, N.C.

2. Miami-based Guardian Dentistry Partners added Crossroad Family Dental in Cary, N.C.

Pennsylvania

1. Houston-based Specialty1 Partners entered a joint venture partnership with Endodontic Specialists of NEPA, which has two locations in Pennsylvania.

2. New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Premier Care Dental Management partnered with Lebanon Family Dental and Lebanon Dental Cornwall.

South Carolina

1. Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental added Dental Care on Central in Summerville, S.C.

Virginia

1. Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health opened Dentists of Sudley in Manassas, Va.

2. Phoenix-based Salt Dental Partners added Hampton (Va.) Oral & Facial Surgery. 

3. Great Neck, N.Y.-based The Smilist added Arlington Dental Team.
