2 new Aspen Dental offices to open in Illinois — Looks to generate $3M in economic growth

Aspen Dental plans to open two new dental offices in Gurnee and Joliet, Ill., next month.

Here's what you need to know:

1. A study by Syracuse University's Whitman School of Management found each Aspen Dental practice contributes nearly $3 million in positive economic impact, generating community growth through job creation and capital investment.

2. Both areas are designated as dental health professional shortage areas by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

3. Brain Haddad, DMD, will head the Gurnee practice. He earned his doctor of dental medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, Ill.

4. Abigail Brier, DMD, will lead the Joliet practice. She earned her doctor of dental medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.

5. Currently, Aspen Dental supports 650-plus offices in 36 states and is continuing to grow across the U.S.
