Pacific Dental Services Foundation raises $61k to support patients with disabilities: 4 key notes

On Nov. 28, Giving Tuesday, Pacific Dental Services Foundation raised $61,850 to support new initiatives making access to oral care easier for patients with disabilities.

Here are four key notes:

1. According to the Journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics, lack of access to oral health care is the number on healthcare problem for children and adults with disabilities.

2. PDS Foundation is donating all proceeds toward training programs that help educate dental professionals on how to better serve patients with disabilities.

3. In addition to participating in Giving Tuesday, PDS Foundation also gives back through their Mobile Dental Clinics, scholarships, mentorship and international programs.

4. The PDS Foundation is a charitable organization that creates opportunities to serve through improving oral healthcare locally, nationally and internationally.
