Here are five things to know:
1. With efforts to push into the pediatrics market, Western Dental converted a Kids Dental Kare office in Lynwood, Calif., into a Western Dental Kids office. The rest of the Kids Dental Kare locations will also be rebranded.
2. Western Dental has an additional eight pediatric-focused offices after its Carson, Calif.-based Children’s Dental Group acquisition. Western Dental plans to rebrand those locations as well.
3. The Lynwood location comprises four treatment rooms, two X-ray rooms and comprehensive pediatric services.
4. Western Dental’s new office will accept Medi-Cal Dental members, like many of Western Dental’s affiliated offices.
5. Western Dental is affiliated with 246 offices throughout California, Arizona, Nevada and Texas.
