Irvine, Calif.-based Bright Now Dental hosted a Day of Giving in Chandler, Ariz., to provide free dentistry to low-income community members.
Here are five things to know:
1. Dentists provided X-rays, exams, fillings, extractions, cleanings, fluoride treatments, oral cancer screenings and more.
2. The Day of Giving was sponsored by the Smiles for Everyone Foundation. The foundation partners with local nonprofits to pre-screen and refer patients to dental clinics.
3. On Oct. 7, dentists also provided free dental care to veterans. More than 20 veterans and their families came to the Chandler-based officer to receive care.
4. Bright Now Dental comprises more than 150 offices throughout 12 states.
5. The dental service organization is affiliated with Irvine-based Smile Brands.
