Here are 36 DSO milestones that have taken place so far in 2025:

  • Dallas-based MB2 Dental hit 800 practices across the U.S. with the addition of a pediatric dental practice in New York. It also added its first practice in Hawaii earlier this year. 
  • Chicago-based Phase 1 Equity has entered several states this year: New Jersey, Ohio, California, Tennessee, Louisiana and Pennsylvania.
  • Irving, Texas-based Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics plans to open its 50th location in October.
  • Danbury, Conn.-based Archway Dental Partners added its first New York practice.
  • New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Dental365 expanded its network into Ohio. 
  • Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Imagen Dental Partners made its first additions in Kentucky and Washington.
  • Irving, Texas-based U.S. Oral Surgery Management expanded its network into Nebraska, Wisconsin and Utah.
  • Metairie, La.-based Smilebliss Orthodontics hit 40 offices after adding six locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas.
  • Phoenix-based Salt Dental Partners added its first practice in New York. The DSO also opened a second headquarters office in Nashville, Tenn.
  • The Woodlands, Texas-based Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers plans to open its first office in Pennsylvania in 2026.
  • Southlake, Texas-based Allied OMS landed its first partnership in Indiana. The company also received its first capital investment in June.
  • PDS Health celebrated the completion of the first year of studies for students at the PDS Health Care Collaborative.
  • Great Neck, N.Y.-based The Smilist surpassed 100 offices in May.
  • Cumming, Ga.-based OMS360 made its first practice addition in Pennsylvania.
  • Sacramento, Calif.-based Straine Dental Management acquired its first practices in Maryland and Oklahoma. 
  • Salt Lake City-based SPP Dental Partners added its first orthodontic practice, partnering with Daniel Hulme, DDS, in Santa Cruz, Calif. It also expanded its network into Utah. 
  • ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers opened its first location in Hawaii Feb. 26.
  • Denver-based Lone Peak Dental Group acquired its first Georgia practice.
  • Lexington, Ky.-based PepperPointe Partnerships graduated its first class of doctors from its leadership development program.
  • Sarasota, Fla.-based Parkview Dental Partners acquired a Florida dental practice, reaching 25 total practices in its network.
  • Cincinnati-based Cordental Group added Williamsburg Dental in Broomall, Pa., hitting 45 offices in its network.
