Now known as Lightwave, the organization is shifting its operating model as a dental support organization to a dental leadership organization, according to an Aug. 3 press release.
The changes support Lightwave’s belief that dentists are leaders of dental practices and work to preserve the identity of private practices. Partner dentists have autonomy over clinical decisions with the support of Lightwave’s research, network and buying power.
Lightwave was founded in 2016 and includes a network of 60 dental offices in three states with 170 dentists.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
