Here are five facts about Heartland’s growth in 2021:
- The DSO has added 348 practices this year, expanding its network to more than 2,300 doctors in 1,400 locations across 38 states, according to an Aug. 3 press release.
- Heartland’s recent partnerships have placed it on track to experience 40 percent growth by the end of the year.
- Recent partnerships that took place earlier this year include a Naperville, Ill.-based practice with 14 supported doctors in three offices and a multi-office practice in Dallas.
- The organization also closed a strategic transaction with American Dental Partners, which supports 22 dental group practices.
- Heartland has opened more than 30 de novo practices and expects to open approximately 67 de novo practices in 2021. The organization previously averaged 50 openings each year from 2018-20.
