Dental providers are uniquely qualified to treat patients with diabetes and prediabetes because they are able to identify potential warning signs such as gingivitis, periodontitis, thrush and dry mouth.

42 North Dental will now include an “Oral Care & Diabetes” page on each of its practice websites with the ADA’s Type 2 Diabetes Risk Assessment Test. Patients will be able to answer questions to assess risk level and access resources if necessary. Resources will also be available to patients in-office and providers will receive ongoing training to meet the needs of patients with diabetes and prediabetes.

42 North Dental currently supports 38 practice brands in 105 locations across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest.
