The DSO said the new ownership packages are a way for it to honor the importance of its hygienists by giving them the opportunity to expand their financial goals within the organization. The owner doctors voted unanimously to expand ownership opportunities to hygienists, the DSO said.
Peak said 10 percent of its hygienists joined the ownership program during the first round it was offered. The participants are part of the DSO’s nearly 60 percent owner dentists and specialists.
Peak Dental Services supports more than 50 locations in Colorado and Texas supporting a network of more than 90 dentists.
