2021

  • Sage Dental acquired six new dental practices in Florida to push its number of affiliated locations past 65.
  • The DSO appointed David Tripp as chief human resources officer and Mark Brockelman as senior vice president and chief financial officer.
  • Sage Dental partnered with dental AI and computer vision solutions company Pearl to provide advanced care to its patients, becoming one of the first organizations to integrate Pearl’s technology company-wide.
  • Sage Dental teamed up with Straumann Group to offer its patients new digital intraoral scanners and AI-powered monitoring for orthodontics treatments.
  • The company added Vero Beach, Fla.-based Contemporary Care Dentistry to its network.

2022

  • Sage Dental opened four more locations in Florida, reaching 71 offices.
  • Sage Dental entered the Tampa and St. Petersburg markets with its acquisition of five practices.
  • The DSO expanded in Georgia and Florida by adding two practices and opening four new locations in Georgia and Florida, bringing the DSO to 82 practices.
  • Sage Dental partnered with Japanese clear aligner manufacturer SheepMedical to offer KiyoClear orthodontic aligners, becoming the first U.S. company to offer the product.
