Here are 10 additions, acquisitions and partnerships made by DSOs and dental organizations in the South that Becker's has reported on since Jan. 5:
1. Dallas-based MB2 Dental added practices in Florida.
2. Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental is planning to open a practice location in Louisville, Ky.
3. Modis Dental Partners, a dental group focused on practices that offer dental implants, acquired Innovative Dental of Springfield (Mo.).
4. Boca Raton, Fla.-based Sage Dental opened locations in St. Johns and Tampa, Fla.
5. Advanced Dental Implant Center, a dental brand supported by Affordable Care, affiliated with Dental Implants of Ocala (Fla.).
6. Little Rock, Ark.-based Rock Dental Brands added affiliates in Missouri, Florida, Tennessee and Arkansas.
7. Heartland Dental added a North Carolina practice to its network.
8. Troy, Mich.-based Smile Partners USA added a Georgia dental practice to its network.
9. Morrisville, N.C.-based Affordable Care opened three new Affordable Dentures & Implants locations, including one in Texas.
10. Charlotte, N.C.-based Flagship Specialty Partners added Virginia Oral & Facial Surgery to its network, its first partner practice in the state.
