Here are five notable developments among DSOs since Sept. 22:
1. Southlake, Texas-based Allied OMS appointed Bill Murray as its next CFO. Mr. Murray brings more than 25 years of experience in financial transactions, healthcare operations and international management. He most recently served as COO of Curis Functional Health and has previously held CFO roles at several healthcare organizations.
2. New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Dental365 added Nataupsky Family Dentistry in Kingston, Pa., to its growing network. The practice is led by Gary Nataupsky, DMD; Jason Nataupsky, DMD; Daniela Ionescu, DDS; and Brittany Lahoda, DMD.
3. Premier Care Dental Management, also based in New Hyde Park, launched a partnership with the Tarnow-Chu Institute in New York City. The institute, led by Stephen Chu, DMD, and Dennis Tarnow, DDS, will provide direct educational resources to Premier Care clinicians. Drs. Chu and Tarnow have authored hundreds of scientific papers, textbooks and lectures.
4. Chicago-based Aspen Dental opened new offices in Palm Springs, Calif.; Knoxville, Tenn.; and Glen Allen, Va.
5. Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health partnered with the American Dental Hygienists’ Association to expand access to dental care for hygienists. The partnership allows hygienists and their families to use the Smile Generation dental plan.
