Pacific Dental Services
- Pacific Dental Services committed to several actions in honor of American Heart Month, including educating team members about heart health and providing team members with interactive CPR demonstrations.
- PDS and Fountain Valley, Calif.-based MemorialCare opened their first co-located integrated office in Irvine, Calif.
- In 2022, Pacific Dental Services became the first DSO to integrate dental and medical data with Epic’s electronic health record system.
- Pacific Dental Services and the Workman School of Dental Medicine at High Point (N.C.) University partnered to implement the Epic electronic health record system at the university.
- Pacific Dental Services and the American Diabetes Association partnered on an awareness campaign to educate people on the link between periodontal disease and diabetes.
- PDS partnered with Commonwealth Primary Care ACO to provide integrated medical-dental services for in-network patients.
- The DSO began opening integrated dental-medical practices to support patients’ overall health needs.
Benevis
- Benevis called on primary care providers to work with dentists on establishing dental care for children.
- Benevis released a guide for healthcare providers to help patients establish routine dental care to promote overall well-being.
