DSO leaders are using their experiences from the tough economic times of the last couple of years to guide their strategies for growth in 2025. 

Florida, California, Hawaii, Michigan and Pennsylvania were the states where DSOs and dental groups were most active with practice additions, acquisitions and openings during February.

Miami-based Guardian Dentistry Partners has chosen Pearl and Planet DDS to provide AI and practice management softwares to its network.

Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health added six new dental practices to its network in February.

Here are four DSOs that have expanded their networks in Florida through de novo offices and acquisitions:

A Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics practice in Colorado Springs, Colo., is staying open later to expand access to care.

Chicago-based Aspen Dental opened a location in Oviedo, Fla., on Feb. 27. 

The DSO field is expected to rebound this year after a more sluggish 2024 thanks to increasingly positive sentiments about the economy. 

The Hunterdon County Department of Health in New Jersey is launching a new dental access program for underserved populations, according to a Feb. 21 news release Hunterdon County. 

Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental partnered with David Green, DDS, who has two practices in Florida.
