In the competitive environment of oral health care, dental practices are increasingly embracing innovative technologies that bridge the gap between oral health and overall wellness while differentiating their business to dental consumers.

A retail center in Alabaster, Ala., will include Aspen Dental as one of its roughly 14 tenants during its first phase, according to a June 10 report by CBS 42.

Morrisville, N.C.-based Affordable Care recently opened an Affordable Dentures & Implants office in Annapolis, Md.

California, Ohio, Arizona, Colorado and Pennsylvania were the states where DSOs and dental groups were most active with practice additions, acquisitions and openings during May.

Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental added a North Carolina dental practice to its network.

Irving, Texas-based Specialized Dental Partners recently added a Texas dental practice to its network. 

Dallas-based MB2 Dental partnered with a dental practice in Rockville Centre, N.Y.

Irving, Texas-based U.S. Oral Surgery Management recently added three partner practices to its network.
