Smile Doctors adds 16 affiliate locations in Q1

Dallas-based Smile Doctors expanded its network during the first quarter by adding six new affiliate practices and one de novo location.

The orthodontic support organization added six affiliate practices and 16 total locations across five states, according to an April 22 news release. 

Amanda Gallagher, DMD, in partnership with Smile Doctors, opened a de novo practice in Baltimore, her fifth practice location.

At the end of the first quarter, Smile Doctors supports more than 550 offices across 36 states. 

Here are the six new affiliate practices the company added during the first quarter:

  • Hatcher & Frey Orthodontics in Virginia, led by William Hatcher, DDS, Scott Frey, DDS, Gregory Hutchins, DDS, and Valerie LaScala, DMD.
  • Local Orthodontics in Tennessee, led by John Marshall Jewett, DMD.
  • Hughes Orthodontics in Virginia, led by Justin Hughes, DDS, and Herbert Hughes, DDS.
  • Zambrano Orthodontics in Florida, led by Jaime Zambrano, DMD, and Michael Karp, DMD.
  • GO Orthodontics in Mississippi and Tennessee, led by Todd Gililland, DMD, Shawn O’Bannon, DMD, Morgan Gonder, DDS, and Shane Radford, DMD.
  • Eberle Orthodontics in Kentucky, led by Scott Eberle, DMD.
