DSOs and dental groups picked up their activity in April, with a number of states seeing numerous moves.
Four states saw at least two DSO moves in April, as reported by Becker’s, including practice openings, acquisitions and affiliations.

Florida
- Sarasota, Fla.-based Parkview Dental Partners acquired VIP Dental, a practice in Palm Harbor, Fla.
- Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental received a permit for the construction of a 4,260-square-foot practice in St. Augustine, Fla.
- Boca Raton, Fla.-based Sage Dental opened a practice location in Ormond Beach, Fla.
- Heartland Dental opened Rapallo Dental Care, a de novo practice in Estero, Fla.
California
- Salt Lake City-based Bridge Dental Group expanded its network with two new partnerships in Glendora, Calif.
- Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health opened de novo practices in Roseville, Jurupa Valley and Clovis, Calif.
Illinois
- Heartland Dental broke ground on a new practice location in Glen Carbon, Ill.
- Troy, Mich.-based Smile Partners USA partnered with Favia Family Dental in Arlington Heights, Ill.
Ohio
- Detroit-based Seva Dental Team partnered with All About Smiles in Middletown, Ohio.
- PDS Health opened Lewis Center Dental Group in Powell, Ohio.
