Dr. Linda Edgar to take over as 160th ADA president

Linda Edgar, DDS, is set to become the American Dental Association’s 160th president.

Dr. Edgar will take over the role during the ADA’s House of Delegates meeting on Oct. 10, according to a Sept. 8 news release from the organization. 

She has previously served as president of the National Academy of General Dentistry from 2007-2015 and as the president of the Seattle King-County Dental Society in 2010. 

Dr. Edgar also joined the ADA board of trustees in 2018, the release said.
