The Michigan Dental Association has named Senator Jim Stamas (R-Midland) its 2014 Legislator of the Year, according to a Midland Daily News report.
Sen. Stamas received the award in recognition of his work, along with Senator Peter MacGregor (R), to bring mobile dentistry to the state, according to the report.
Michigan Dental Association President Martin Makowski, DDS, presented Sen. Stamas with the award.
