Here are six dentists making the news this week.

Bill Busch, DMD, and other several dentists in Kansas City, Mo., served 310 underprivileged children during "Kansas City Oral Health Care Day," according to KC News.

Lee Ann Brady, DMD, taught new dentists the best ways to avoid restorative failures. She will present at the New Dentist's Conference during the ADA Annual meeting in November in Washington D.C.

The United States Department of Health and Human Services Indian Health Service named Joseph Salamon, DDS, "Dentist of the Year." Dr. Salamon is honored for advancing patient care in the Seneca Nation Health System in New York, according to Observer Today.

Field Advisory Committee of the National Oral Health Council selected Alexander Campagna, DDS, also a dentist in Seneca Nation, for the 2015 Clinical Excellence Award for General Dentistry Junior Category, according to Observer Today.

Philip Shindler, DDS, is now using E4D technology in his dental practice in Agoura Hills, Calif. The technology allows for same-day restoration, according to Virtual-Strategy.

Justin Newingham, DDS, a dentist in Birmingham, Mich., was selected to the "America's Bests Dentists" registry for 2015.
