1. Dr. Acierno founded DecisionOne Dental in May 2012.
2. Prior to forming the dental group, Dr. Acierno served as the team dentist for the Schaumburg (Ill.) Boomers. He also served as the team dentist for the Chicago Wolves.
3. Dr. Acierno spent some time operating a private practice in Schaumburg.
4. Getting into the dental service organization space, Dr. Acierno affiliated with Heartland Dental early in his career.
5. He earned his doctor of dental surgery degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Neb.
