California
- Dallas-based MB2 Dental added Cabrillo Family Dental Care, The Center for Dental Wellness at Camarillo and Tooth by Sunny Badyal.
- Phoenix-based Salt Dental Partners affiliated with Berkeley & Orinda Orthodontics.
- Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Imagen Dental Partners added Smiles on Clark.
- Houston-based Specialty1 Partners entered a joint venture partnership with Advanced Periodontics Implant Center.
- Irving, Texas-based U.S. Oral Surgery Management partnered with Hidemi Oka, DMD, in Union City, Calif.
Florida
- Plantation, Fla.-based Vitana Pediatric and Orthodontic Partners added Tringas Orthodontics.
- Dallas-based MB2 Dental added Wellen Family Dental.
- Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental opened Lake Toho Dental Care, Dental Care at Winchester Center, Cypress Bay Dental Care, Marsh View Dental Care and Dental Care at Race Track.
- Dallas-based Beacon Oral Specialists partnered with North Florida Oral & Facial Surgery.
- Chicago-based The Sonrisa Group acquired Pine Forest Dental and launched Lach Dental Specialists.
Texas
- Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental partnered with Majid Sehat, DDS, and his practice in Irving, Texas. It also opened Dental Care at Tehama Ridge, Dental Care at Lake Lavon, Boswell Dental Care and Dental Care of North Manor.
- Sacramento, Calif.-based Straine Dental Management added 4405 Dental Studio.
- Henderson, Nev.-based PDS Health opened Ownsby Modern Dentistry.
- Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Imagen Dental Partners added Campbell Dental.
Ohio
- New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Premier Care Dental Management acquired Blank Dental Group, Laskey Dental Care, Great Smiles Family Dentistry and Toledo Periodontics.
- Troy, Mich.-based Smile Partners USA added its first Ohio practice in January.
- Chicago-based Phase 1 Equity added a multi-site orthodontic practice in Ohio.
New Jersey
- Chicago-based Aspen Dental opened an office in Toms River, N.J.
- Hackensack, N.J.-based MAX Surgical Specialty Management partnered with William Ranucci, DMD, of Oral & Maxillofacial Associates of Montclair.
- Dallas-based MB2 Dental partnered TruYou Dental & Facial Aesthetics.
- Chicago-based Phase 1 Equity added a multi-site orthodontic practice, its second office in New Jersey.
New York
- Phoenix-based Salt Dental Partners affiliated with Julia Cerny, DMD, in Latham, N.Y. It also added Suffolk Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics.
- Greenwood Village, Colo.-based ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers opened a location in Albany, N.Y.
- Hackensack, N.J.-based MAX Surgical Specialty Management added Central Park Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and J. Bieber Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
