  1. Dental implant company Nobel Biocare will begin distributing SprintRay’s 3D technology as part of a partnership between the two companies.
  2. Dental supply chain optimization company Base86 began testing a supply procurement platform that allows small- and medium-sized dental practices to connect with multiple suppliers through a single form and find potential new suppliers based on past orders.
  3. Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based National Dentex Labs has acquired Fager Dental Lab, a distributor of crowns, bridges and implant restorations.

  6. LightForce Orthodontics, 3D-printed bracket system manufacturer, completed a $50M series C funding round.
  7. Goose Creek, S.C.-based staffing company HireQuest acquired the staffing division of Carrboro, N.C.-based Dental Power.
  8. Nashville, Tenn.-based teledentistry company SmileDirectClub launched two water flossers.
