Dental implant company ZimVie has launched an immediate molar implant system.

The Immediate Molar Implant System helps streamline site preparation to facilitate more controlled and predictable molar extractions, according to an April 21 news release. The system also includes wide-diameter implants to reduce the risk of peri-implantitis by up to 20%, ZimVie said.

In 2024, ZimVie transitioned to a pure play dental company after entering an agreement to sell its spine business at the end of 2023.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
