The time off can be taken at the beginning or end of a dental employee’s shift, whichever permits the greatest amount of time off to vote. Staff members can be given as much time as they need to vote, but only two hours must be paid.
Dental practices must post a clearly visible notice detailing voting time requirements at least 10 days before Election Day, which is Nov. 3.
