4 dental lawsuit settlements totaling $13.5M

Here are four lawsuit settlements that have taken place in the dental industry since Aug. 4:

1. Advantage Dental Services agreed to pay $4.5 million to settle allegations that it improperly billed Oregon’s Medicaid program.

2. Dental Intelligence, a practice management software company, agreed to settle a proposed class-action lawsuit for $5.75 million.

3. Community Dental Care, a nonprofit dental clinic with five locations in Minnesota, agreed to settle a class action lawsuit stemming from a cyberattack that affected 134,903 patients.

4. Las Vegas-based Absolute Dental gained final court approval to settle a class-action lawsuit related to its 2025 data breach.
